Recharter and Renewal

Unit Recharter (renewal)

  • Most of our Units Renew on January 1, 2026. For these Units, you can start renewing on November 1, 2025
  •  
  • Go to my.scouting.org, then Organization Manager, then Unit Renewal.
  •  
  • Remember, Unit Renewal is separate from Membership Renewal
  •  
  • To renew:
  • •  The minimum required leaders have to be currently in good standing
  • •  Their leaders’ must have current Safeguarding Youth Training.
  • •  Unit has to pay the $100 Renewal Fee
  • •  Don’t wait! Renew in early November and enjoy your Holidays!!
  •  
  • Schedule an appointment with your Unit Commissioner to turn in your signed Annual Charter Agreement, or if you have any questions about the unit renewal.

Reminder if you do not recharter before Dec 15, 2025

  • •  You cannot advance any youth
  • •  Your unit will not have insurance for outings
  • •  Your Pin on BeaScout.org will be deactivated

 

 

Individual Membership Renewal

  • •  Most individual’s membership expires on December 31st.  If your membership expires within the next 60 days, you should have already received an email and a text from Scouting America with a link to pay your membership renewal for the next year.
  • •  You can also go to my.scouting.org and click on the message notification on the top right corner of the screen and select ‘click here to renew’.
