YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

Youth protection training is 90 minute training session for parents and adult Scout leaders designed to accomplish two things: 1) ensure that all leaders and parents are equipped with the information needed to protect Scouts from phyical, sexual, and emotional abuse, and 2) ensure that all leaders are informed of policies and procedures developed by the Boy Scouts of America to both protect Scouts and to minimize the likelihood that an adult leader will be falsely accused of abuse.

This important training is provided in Saddleback District on the third Tuesday evening of each month at the LDS Church located at 27976 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo starting promptly at 7:30. Pre-registration is not required, and the training is free. All that is asked is that you be on time and be prepared to learn as much as possible about one of the most important issues for parents and adult leaders, safeguarding the welfare of our youth.
